Johansson is a great player, well rounded and defensively responsible. We certainly need him to round off our top 6, as our depth is not great. As for D:

Time to give the younger guys more time. LJ wouldn't crack most AHL lineups, and I am perplexed how he keeps showing up on that roster. Greene is simply too slow. I have alot of respect for our captain, but he is simply out of place this year. Always playing catch-up and scrambling. He helped Severson out a couple years ago, but has no place as a top 4 TOI D-man in my opinion. With Ty Smith ripping up the WHL, and likely the Canada World Junior team, We may have a star LD to round off a young d-core going forward. |

It looks like the team changed something defensively from the last game. The D positioning was much better. And there weren't any bad pinches I could remember. Maybe the D is being reigned back a little. |
